1. Purpose

This refund policy outlines the conditions under which donations made to the OFM BIG Cover Up – Blanket Drive may be refunded. As a charitable campaign, we rely on the generosity of the public, and all funds raised are used to purchase blankets for vulnerable communities in Central South Africa.

 

2. General Policy

All donations made through this website are considered final and non-refundable.

We encourage donors to double-check all personal and payment details before submitting a contribution.

3. Exceptions – When Refunds May Be Considered

Refunds may be considered under the following exceptional circumstances:

  • Duplicate payments made in error

  • Incorrect donation amount submitted due to a technical or system error

  • Fraudulent use of your payment details where proof can be provided

Refund requests that fall within these categories must be submitted within 7 days of the donation.

4. How to Request a Refund

If you believe you qualify for a refund, please contact us as soon as possible. Include the following in your request:

  • Your full name

  • Email address used during donation

  • Date and amount of donation

  • Proof of payment (e.g. receipt or reference number)

  • Reason for refund request

5. Refund Processing

If your refund is approved:

  • The refund will be processed via the original payment method

  • Please allow 7–14 working days for the amount to reflect, depending on your bank or payment provider

  • You will receive email confirmation once the refund is processed

 

6. Disputes

If a refund is denied and you believe this decision was incorrect, you may contact us again with additional supporting documentation. We are committed to fair treatment and transparency for all donors.

 

7. Final Note

As a donor, your contribution makes a real difference. Every R100 buys a blanket for someone who truly needs it. We appreciate your kindness and understanding.
